Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Experienced Automotive Deal Posting Clerk to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and strong numerical skills to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Must have at least 1 year of automotive accounting experience!

Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership founded in 1987. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan, and Bethesda areas since the 1950s. We are a local leader in automotive retail, looking to add qualified professionals to our team. Responsibilities
  • Must have experience with automotive deal posting.
  • Calculating sales commissions
  • Extensive data entry
  • Research and resolve discrepancies
  • Protects organization s value by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain financial records by entering data into accounting software and ensuring all entries are correct
Requirements
  • 1+ year in automotive accounting
  • Must be able to handle working in a high-volume dealership
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
