P Associate

The position is a support function within the overall finance department, responsible for collecting, comparing vendor invoices to issued purchase orders and processing payment to suppliers.

• Obtain supplier invoices, receiving documents, and other supporting documentation; examine, code appropriately, and post to the accounting system.
• Prepare checks for printing and hand checks as needed.
• Handle all supplier A/P queries and follow up.
• Coordinate and resolve cost discrepancies with buyers, maintaining a cost discrepancy log.
• Other tasks assigned by the financial lead.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
