Fund Controller / Vice President
Experience:

Primarily responsible for the financial reporting for multiple venture capital funds. This position will report to a Fund Controller / Vice President and will supervise 1-3 fund accountant(s)/senior fund accountant(s).
This position will be required to do the following:- Review daily/weekly journal entries in Allvue in connection with fund activity
- Review schedules and provide support in connection with the annual audit
- Assist in managing cash flow needs
- Various ad-hoc tasks, and other projects and deadlines that arise in relation to above
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize work
- Detail-oriented, a successful problem solver, and a team player with the ability to manage 1-3 direct-reports
- Knowledge of GAAP, ideally technical expertise of investment company accounting
- Works well under pressure and responds to deadline with urgency
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years of experience in public accounting (ideally with experience in the investment management industry), and/or fund accounting at an asset management firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Allvue is a plus
- CPA preferred
