Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month-End Close:
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete financial reporting. Technical Accounting:
Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex accounting matters, prepare technical accounting memos, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing accounting workflows, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and implement scalable processes and internal controls. Audit Management:
Coordinate external audits, manage PBC requests, and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors. Account Reconciliations:
Review general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to maintain the integrity of financial statements. Internal Controls:
Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and controls as the business grows in complexity and scale.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with finance, operations, and other departments to resolve accounting issues, improve financial visibility, and support business initiatives. Team Development:
Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, with the opportunity to help build and develop the accounting function as the organization expands. Special Projects:
Support new business initiatives, system implementations, financial reporting enhancements, and other strategic projects in a rapidly evolving environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license strongly preferred. Experience in public accounting, ideally at a Big Four or nationally recognized accounting firm.
