We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-272 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The candidate will be a member of the Assault IPT and shall provide program management support.

The Program Analyst, Journeyman applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Analyze data to identify risk to cost, schedule and performance and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce risk to products.

Duties:
  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing internal correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.
  • Administrative duties (filing, scheduling appointments, assisting with maintaining travel spreadsheets and arrangements).
  • Proficient in SharePoint and MS Office 365 Suite to include MS Teams is a requirement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with multiple IPT teammates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience/ability to interact effectively with executive level staff.
  • PMA Operations Communications Distribution (Taskers, Training, IT, PMA Events etc.) ensuring thorough dissemination and adherence to suspense timelines.
  • Provide administrative support to executive staff and Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with office management responsibilities to include coordinating schedules and calendars, recording meeting minutes, preparing briefing packages, Navy correspondence, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist 272 Operations lead with maintaining trackers for personnel onboarding and Offboarding.
  • Preparation and coordination of PEO communications with the 272 Operations Lead.
  • Develop and maintain Level 1 IPT views for Executive Reporting.
Required

Education:

BA/BS degree

Allowable substitution:

  • Associate's degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience:
  • Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and professional experience in NAVAIR AMS Suite of Tools (PMT and CSPT).
  • Three (3) to Ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Two (2) years of experience or proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
