Matapeake and Centreville Elementary Schools.

Schedule:

No weekends. Monday‑Friday AM

Hours:

6:15 am–9:00 am. PM

Hours:

3:00 pm–6:00 pm.

Internal promotion to a Group Leader: 45‑hour school‑age and 45‑hour growth & development certification at no cost.

• Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Work collaboratively with peers, share program‑related information, and contribute to collective tasks.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the students’ interests and talents.
• Follow licensing regulations and standards, including reporting child incidents and proper health and hygiene procedures.
• Continuously monitor the environment, including outside play areas, to maintain a safe and healthy site.
• Provide a caring, family‑oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

• Have fun and ignite children’s sense of wonder.

• High school diploma or GED
• Aged 18 or older
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
