Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Management Specialist located in Laurel, MD. The Construction Management Specialist will oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities include project planning, monitoring progress, managing contracts, analyzing costs, and ensuring on-site safety and efficiency. The specialist will collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to guide projects from planning to completion.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Construction Management and experience in overseeing project workflows and deliverables
  • Knowledge of Civil Engineering and understanding of foundational principles and practices
  • Expertise in Construction and related project execution techniques
  • Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for construction projects
  • Familiarity with Architecture and the ability to work collaboratively with design teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Previous experience with federal, state, or local government construction projects is a plus
