Construction Superintendent

Job Title: Civil Superintendent Location: Lutherville/Timonium, MD (Contract to Hire)
Project: Delaney High School in Baltimore County – a 3-year site package worth $18 million.
Salary: $53.00 – $57.00 per hour Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the project schedule; monitor progress; allocate resources; adjust to ensure timely completion.
• Lead the site team: assign tasks, hire, and manage subcontractors; hold site meetings as needed.
• Oversee quality of work, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Contribute to cost estimation and monitor expenses to keep the project within budget.
• Act as liaison between the construction site and stakeholders (project manager, engineers, architects, clients).
• Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities; manage project documentation; utilize project management software.
• Enforce company policies for a safe work environment; comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Spend 90% time on‑site, managing day‑to‑day operations and other duties as required.

• Experience in civil construction and site work.
• Proficiency in commercial construction and subcontractor management.
• Strong skills in construction supervision and ground‑up projects.
• Expertise in project scheduling and utilities management.
• Experience with cost estimation and budget monitoring.
• Proficiency in project management software.
