The Wayne Shoemaker State Farm Agency is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized individual to join our team in an entry-level Customer Service Representative position.

We provide training and opportunities to obtain insurance licenses, develop professional skills, increase earnings, and advance within our agency.

This position is primarily administrative and customer service oriented. We are seeking someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in completing assignments accurately and on time.

• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Accept and process customer insurance payments and assist with billing questions.
• Contact customers regarding payments, policy information, account updates, and service needs.
• Process routine insurance policy changes and update customer account information.
• Maintain accurate customer records and document service activities.
• Organize, update, and maintain agency literature, forms, and office materials.
• Assist the Agent and other Team Members with administrative responsibilities and special assignments.
• Follow up on assigned tasks to ensure customer requests are completed promptly.
• Support customer retention, identify additional customer needs, and contribute to agency goals.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and professional office environment.

• Minimum of three years of direct customer facing work experience following high school graduation or equivalent.
• Complete two pre-employment assessments about 15 mins each.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional telephone manner and good communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
