Physician, Geriatric Medicine – Oakland, MD at WVU Medicine

Join the WVU Health System’s Geriatric Medicine practice. The position is located in Oakland, MD and Keyser, WV. Eligible candidates will provide outpatient and inpatient Geriatrics services at Garrett Regional Medical Center (Oakland) and Potomac Valley Hospital (Keyser).

• Provide outpatient Geriatric care including visits, management of chronic conditions, and collaborative care.
• Conduct inpatient consults in the community hospitals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, quality improvement, and education.

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency and a Geriatrics fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatrics.
• All qualifications must be met by date of appointment.

• Compensation based on 100% FTE; salary prorated for less than full time.
• Hours:
  
  40 per week (exempt).
