Locum Gastroenterologist – Maryland

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Maryland.

Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Daytime scheduled clinical coverage
Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Call: None
Pay: $450/hour
Pay Ranking: Top 10%
Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to approximately $18,000 based on 40 paid hours

• Upper and lower GI endoscopy

The physician must be comfortable administering and managing moderate sedation with nursing support, as most procedures are performed without an anesthesiologist present.

Candidates must be Board Certified, Gastroenterology fellowship trained, and hold or qualify through a Maryland license/IMLC pathway. ACLS and BLS are required.

This is an attractive opportunity for a Gastroenterologist seeking premium locum compensation, predictable daytime procedural work and no call responsibilities.
