Electrical Superintendent
DEPCOM Power is seeking a Field Service Superintendent to lead and manage electrical crews on utility‑scale solar and BESS repower, restoration, and augmentation projects. In this hands‑on role, you will ensure all work meets NEC code, safety standards, and project requirements while troubleshooting challenges and maintaining efficient workflow on fast‑paced, short‑duration sites nationwide. This position requires extensive travel and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
WhatYou Will Do
- Oversee and manage a Self‑Perform team to repair and restore utility‑scale solar and battery storage project sites while applying our Principle‑Based Management philosophy.
- Develop and improve processes and measures that drive consistent action and behaviors to maximize profitability and productivity.
- Support the team in understanding and applying DEPCOM's safety and quality standards and practices while maintaining the construction schedule.
- Improve decision making through knowledge sharing, the challenge process, evaluation of alternatives and clear decision rights.
- Ensure projects are completed per schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality by effectively managing budgets, schedules, and risks while maintaining transparent client communication, compliance, and rigorous quality assurance.
- Ensure the team is well‑prepared and aligned for the next three weeks to enhance coordination and project efficiency.
- Maintain daily reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Must hold a valid Electrical Journeyman license.
- Experience with Microsoft applications.
- Experience leading Self‑Perform teams or subcontractors.
- Understanding of the code.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Utility scale solar and/or BESS experience.
- OSHA 30, NFP 70E, and CPR 7 First‑Aid certification.
- Experience with Procore and familiarity with ArcGIS.
For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $130,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
