2026 Graduate - Robotic/Autonomous Systems Engineer - Maritime Robotics Group at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory

Pay Range

$85,000.00 per year – $ per year

Responsibilities
  • Prototype next-generation robotic solutions to help address critical challenges facing our Navy.
  • Work on highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to solve problems spanning both software and hardware.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping from conception through field testing.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Skilled in software or mechanical design methodologies and techniques applicable to robotic systems.
  • Commitment to learning and willingness to acquire new skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by start date and ultimately obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic systems, autonomous systems, or machine perception (including machine learning) algorithms.
  • Experience in modern, collaborative software or hardware development environments.
  • Current active Secret clearance.
