Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in building design. This role requires over 10 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. The ideal candidate should have project management experience or a strong aspiration to pursue such a path. The position involves working on diverse projects in areas such as education, government, healthcare, mission‑critical facilities, and historic preservation.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage building design projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and modeling tasks.
- Engage in client‑facing interactions to ensure project alignment.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Participate in projects related to K‑12, Higher Education, Government, or other large‑scale initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and building design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience or aspirations in project management.
Skills & Qualifications
- EIT or PE certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to train less‑tenured staff.
- Experience with client‑facing roles in large‑scale projects.
The role is based in Owings Mills, MD, within a collaborative and supportive office setting. The team operates under a linear flat structure, promoting open communication and teamwork. The work schedule is in‑office Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:45 pm, with a six‑hour work‑from‑home day on Fridays. Contract to Hire position based in Owings Mills, MD.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $46.46 – $69.12 /hr.
