RF Test Technician - Marriottsville, MD

Job Summary

As an RF Test Technician, you will conduct RF measurements on semiconductor components such as amplifiers, switches, filters, mixers, multi‑chip modules, and integrated microwave assemblies that operate from DC to 40 GHz. You will use moderate problem solving requiring a solid understanding of engineering standards and the ability to comprehend basic block diagrams. You will prepare complex test reports and data in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and may help write Acceptance Testing Procedures.

• Conduct manual and automated production tests on RF semiconductor components
• Record and organize test results and communicate the status of various production efforts
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electronics measurement equipment
• Develop an understanding of operation and parametric behavior of RF components
• Perform occasional surface‑mount assembly/rework with hand‑soldering equipment
• Work with the engineering design team to prototype and characterize new products

• 3+ years of work experience with RF electronics device testing at the component level
• High School Diploma
• Familiarity with electronic circuits fundamentals and RF measurement methods
• Ability to use lab test equipment including vector network analyzers, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, digital multimeters, and basic electronic tools

• Associate Degree in Electronics

• $44,000.00 – $88,000.00 annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
• $49,300.00 – $98,600.00 annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
• $51,900.00 – $ annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in NJ
