OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician (E-Tech) with hands-on experience in building batteries and power electronic converters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex systems with a focus on power electronics and energy storage solutions. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our products in meeting industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test battery systems and power electronic converters.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electronic components, ensuring the performance and quality of products.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve and refine designs and assembly processes.
- Conduct tests and inspections to identify performance issues in electrical and electronic systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, modifications, and test results.
- Provide support in the design and development of new products, focusing on energy storage and power conversion systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- 3+ years of experience in building batteries and power electronic converters.
- Strong hands-on technical skills with a focus on power electronics.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards for battery systems and power electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of advanced battery technologies and power conversion methods.
- Experience in working with high-voltage systems and energy storage solutions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in the electronics industry.
Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
