Principal Wireless Engineer - Hanover, MD

South Tek Resources is actively searching for a Principal Engineer experienced in product design and lead architecture, specializing in wireless software development team leadership with an emphasis on embedded object-oriented (OO) techniques.

Required:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

• Contribute to the development of Software Defined Radio (SDR) components while leading a team of embedded software engineers.
• Implement proof-of-concept ideas to improve wireless network operation or security.
• Gather spoken system/software requirements from customers and derive system, software, and network specifications.
• Document implementation conditions, configuration files, create product diagrams, and present findings to peers and superiors.

• BSEE degree (MSEE preferred) with at least 8 years of design experience, including a minimum of 3 years in team leadership.
• Strong experience with radio/wireless software development.
• Extensive RF (Radio Frequency) development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly languages.
• Object-oriented software design/development using UML or similar CAE tools.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded processing applications.
• U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates will undergo a security investigation to access classified information.
