MQ-25 Data Lab Technician with Security Clearance Responsibilities

Works for the Data Division under the NAVAIR Mission Systems Test and Evaluation Department (MSTED), physically recovering data storage devices at the end of test events, downloading, formatting, confirming data integrity, storing in proper locations, communicating with and coordinating with different test teams, and as directed filtering or running analysis tools.

• Data Engineer and Analysis Liaison: Junior level; performs data engineering tasks and analysis liaison responsibilities.
• Computer/Data Scientist: Junior level; analyzes science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Performs systems management and integration functions, improves existing computer systems, and reviews computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
• Data Scientist (Junior Level): Identifies methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied structured and unstructured data sets related to the data science lifecycle. Develops algorithms and/or tools to support data manipulation and processing and uses data visualization techniques to articulate findings.
• System Analyst (Junior Level): Applies knowledge of analytical methodologies, management principles, hardware and software systems structures and operation, and aircraft systems or requirements to solve project problems. Addresses scientific, engineering or business objectives and interfaces with project teams to address project objectives. Independently uses mathematical and programmatic approaches to define, plan, organize, design, develop, modify, test, and integrate systems.
• Engineer (Junior Level): Performs engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture. May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.

The projected salary range for this position is $60,000-$110,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on education, experience and contractual requirements.
