Job Description

We offer comprehensive expertise in the following broad, evolving areas:

Designing and implementing metropolitan area fiber optic and wireless networks
Designing and optimizing network architecture
Coordinating the planning and design process with policymakers and first-response professionals
Developing public/private partnerships in broadband communications
Public Safety Wireless Communications
Homeland Security Planning and Networking
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)/Traffic Communications
Broadband Communications Networking
Engineering Analysis for Siting of Wireless Communications Facilities
Communications Network Performance Evaluation

Qualifications

The following experience for this position matters to us (any or all of these is a plus):

You have five or more years of recent experience in the wireless industry with wireless network engineering

You have experience with planning, designing and overseeing integration of communications networks

You have a bachelor level degree in engineering or related field with preference given for more advanced degrees and relevant certifications

You have experience with communications outside plant cable construction and design, or network electronics (Preferred, but not required)

You are organized

You have excellent writing skills
