Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Controls Engineer to support industrial automation and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have basic PLC programming knowledge, an understanding of electrical schematics, and familiarity with how PLCs and HMIs communicate to control manufacturing equipment. Recent graduates and candidates with relevant technical training or hands-on electrical experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Support PLC and HMI systems used to control manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical and control system issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support equipment performance.
• Learn and follow established safety procedures and technical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a related field; equivalent technical training or relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PLC and HMI communication in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in an industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, coursework, or hands-on experience involving PLCs, HMIs, or industrial automation.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, electrical troubleshooting, or control systems.
