The Role

Game Name LLC is seeking a Short-Form Content Creator to help establish and grow our presence across Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. This role is all about video games and internet culture-- creating funny, clever, and engaging short-form videos that spark interest, build community, and drive awareness and engagement with our projects.

This is a remote, full-time contract role (~40 hrs/week), for an initial 3-month term with potential for extension.

The ideal candidate “lives on the internet,” understands trends before they peak, and can give Game Name a distinct online voice that resonates with gamers.

We’re hoping to fill this role ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish short-form video content for Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• Experiment with formats, memes, humor, and trending sounds to maximize reach and engagement
• Collaborate with the game dev team to capture in-game footage, art, and behind-the-scenes content
• Establish a consistent brand voice and presence across short-form platforms
• Occasionally support long-form content (e.g., trailers, dev logs, updates)
• Track performance metrics and adapt strategies for growth and awareness

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating short-form video content (Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts, Reels)
• Strong creative instincts, comedic timing, and cultural fluency in internet/gaming trends
• Video editing skills (any tools Cap Cut, Premiere, After Effects, etc; it’s the results that matter.)
• Self-starter who can work autonomously while staying aligned with studio and project goals
• Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across a distributed team
• Portfolio or links to examples of your short-form content (gaming preferred, but not required)

Success Metrics

• Drive awareness and wishlist growth for Benny’s Backrooms (primary project)
• Build an engaged following, laying groundwork for future projects

Contract Terms

• Hours: Full-Time (40 hrs/week), must have some overlap availability at with US time zones (at least 2 hours; 4+ preferable)
• Rate: $3,500-$5,500/month; $20-32/hr (USD); depending on experience, skills, region
• Duration: Initial 3-month term, with potential for extension
• Scope: Creating and scheduling short-form video content for Benny's Backrooms and possibly other Game Name/Socksfor1 projects.
• 100% remote team with flexible work hours
