Games/Floor Supervisor - Poker - MD
Location:
Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland.
Compensation: USD $28.84/Hr.

ResponsibilitiesWhere You’ll Make an Impact:
- Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Control cards and equipment.
- Supervise and manage poker dealers.
- Develop staff: evaluate, hire, and train.
- Assist Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and reviewing promotions and tournaments.
- Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker.
- Assist Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance versus local competition.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
- Ability to add chips and money.
- Good public relations/guest service skills.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms.
- Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of company policy, procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
- Knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.
- Maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
- Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
- Basic computer skills.
- Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operations.
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume responsibility related to table games performance.
- Obtainment of departmental budget and goals.
- Effective managing of staff.
- Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reports.
- Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
- Technical school education in dealing specified games.
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
- Must be able to carry a tray.
- High-volume, 24-hour liquor and beverage service.
