Compensation: USD $28.84/Hr.

Responsible for the successful operation of the Poker Room, assuring integrity of the games, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring guests have a favorable gaming experience.

Where You’ll Make an Impact:

• Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Control cards and equipment.
• Supervise and manage poker dealers.
• Develop staff: evaluate, hire, and train.
• Assist Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and reviewing promotions and tournaments.
• Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker.
• Assist Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance versus local competition.
• Excellent customer service.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
• Ability to add chips and money.
• Good public relations/guest service skills.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms.
• Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledge of company policy, procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
• Knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.
• Maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
• Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
• Basic computer skills.
• Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operations.
• Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume responsibility related to table games performance.
• Obtainment of departmental budget and goals.
• Effective managing of staff.
• Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reports.
• Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.

• 1 to 2 years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Technical school education in dealing specified games.
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

• Must be able to carry a tray.
• High-volume, 24-hour liquor and beverage service.
