Overview
ASC Largo is seeking a FT Surgical Technologist to join United Surgical Partners International, Inc. The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures, maintains a sterile field, prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment, and supports quality improvement activities as a member of the surgical team.
Responsibilities- Scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team
- Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures
- Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
- Supports and participates in quality improvement activities
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification as required by state and/or center
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Pay and CompliancePay range:
Min: $32 to Max: $46. Wages are determined based upon qualifications and experience. USPI complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If offered the position and vaccination applies, you will show proof of full vaccination or obtain an exemption prior to start date, with regular testing if exempt.
