Medical Assistant Position Summary

The Medical Assistant provides clinical support for the Practice by maintaining flow for the providers under the direct supervision of office leadership. The Medical Assistant rooms patients, takes vitals, ensures patient records are accurate, and provides back office clerical support, as needed. The Medical Assistant performs other clinical, laboratory, administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate office functions.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical or back‑office experience is required or completion of a Medical Assistant training program is required.

• Monday through Friday, Day Shift

• At Tidal Health, full‑time employees working at least 80 hours per pay period and part‑time employees working at least 40 hours per pay period are eligible for benefits.
