About the job Geriatric Nurse Assistants
White Coat Healthcare Staffing is seeking for CNAs/GNAs to join our PRN staff. Great opportunities for nursing assistants to pick and choose their own schedules to work!
We have opportunities with multiple skilled nursing facilities in Maryland. Seeking individuals who can start almost immediately. Based on the location of the facilities our pay rates start at $18-25.00 for your experience.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for meeting patients' daily needs and responding to call lights; assume care of patients' clothing, personal property, and environment; make careful and efficient use of supplies, linen, and equipment.
Must-Have Skills- Understand the aging process.
- Patience and empathy.
- Compassion, communication, and connection.
- Required to bend, kneel, or crouch throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds; may be required to lift and/or move upwards of 100 pounds, especially for two-person Hoyer lift assists.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must hold an active Maryland GNA license.
- Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 w/ booster (if eligible).
