Job Overview
Comfi-Kare Homecare Services is currently hiring experienced Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA’s) to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors in Maryland.
GNA Responsibilities- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help clients move safely, walk, or transfer from bed/chair
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and client condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
- Remind clients about medications
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Document care provided and report changes to nurses or family.
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- You will need PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
- Competitive pay: $25–$28/hour
- Flexible scheduling (Full-time, Part-time, PRN)
