Schedule:

Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am-7pm Participation in the department's on-call rotation is required, with the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of being called.

Freeman Health System's main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery. In this fast-paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction. We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting.

Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
