Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Glade Valley in Walkersville, MD
. Help skilled nursing residents overcome challenges with everyday activities by combining clinical assessment, practical treatment, and education that supports progress beyond the therapy session.

• Assess daily living skills, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance to identify occupational therapy needs.
• Develop measurable goals that reflect residents' priorities, current abilities, and discharge plans.
• Provide individualized treatment for self-care, functional transfers, and participation in daily routines.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers techniques for safer, more independent task completion.
• Reassess progress, adjust interventions, and supervise COTA services within the established plan of care.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and coordinate recommendations with nursing and the rehabilitation team.

• $55-$60 per hour.
• PRN assignments coordinated with your availability and facility coverage needs.
• Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
• Collaboration with fellow therapists and support from therapy leadership.

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Strong evaluation skills and the ability to translate findings into functional treatment goals.
• Clear communication and accurate clinical documentation.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
