Position: Receptionists (on behalf of a client)

On behalf of Solaar Hospitality currently operating Mercure Larnaca Beach hotel and its newest addition Mercure City Hotel, a brand new 4
* boutique hotel, we seek to recruit experienced Receptionists for either morning or night shift. There is the possibility to work full-time or part-time, as well as all year round or seasonal employment in both hotels.

The brand-new Mercure City Hotel is a contemporary hotel nestled in the heart of Larnaca. With its prime city location, a mere 3-minute walk to Finikoudes beach, stylish accommodations, and exceptional amenities, Mercure City Hotel offers guests an unforgettable stay with international hospitality standard infused with local charm.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Undertakes hotel reception responsibilities, including bookings, welcoming, and registering guests upon arrival, concierge services, and billing.
  • Provides high-quality guest experience, characterized by professionalism, efficiency, friendliness, and discretion, always in line with the hotel’s guidelines.
  • Handles guest requests in an efficient and effective manner, seeking support from management if required.
  • Promotes the sale of additional hotel services to guests to increase revenue per room.
  • Complies with the hotel’s internal policies, practices, and procedures
  • Cooperates with other departments of the hotel to ensure high guest satisfaction levels.
  • Undertakes any other relevant duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma / qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or other related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the Front Office department of a 4
    * or 5
    * hotel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
  • Friendly and pleasant approach.
