Host - Rusutsu; seasonal

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as Hosts for the upcoming winter season. This is a hands‑on, multi‑tasking role where no two days are the same, you will support a variety of departments to ensure a seamless and memorable stay for our guests. As a Host, you will play a central role in maintaining the chalet environment, assisting with check‑ins and guest requests, managing communication, and even providing transport around the resort.

A flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills are key to succeeding in this role.

• Work across various departments and assist where needed, always eager to learn and support the team
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including full property changeovers, daily/midstay cleans and pre/post checks
• Maintain a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests
• Provide a smooth and friendly check‑in/check‑out experience
• Communicate with guests via phone, email, OTA platforms, and in person to offer assistance and answer questions
• Manage and confirm pre‑arrival information, ensuring all guest needs are noted and prepared
• Offer recommendations and assist with bookings for local restaurants, activities, and services
• Handle payments and booking‑related administration tasks with attention to detail
• Safely transport guests within the resort area as needed
• Assist with snow removal from vehicles and around properties
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

• Valid International Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Strong and confident driving skills; experience driving in snowy or icy conditions is highly preferred
• Previous experience working in a ski resort or winter hospitality environment is an asset
• Friendly, approachable, and guest‑focused personality with a passion for hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Prior experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is preferred
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills, particularly Japanese, are a plus
• Must have, or be eligible for, a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

• ¥10,000 Staff Accommodation - just 5 minutes drive from the resort - staff car will be available under strict rules.
• Full‑time Employment, Including Paid Training - Work with us from December 1st 2025 to February 25th 2026, with the possibility of extending your contract depending on availability and performance.
