At Iberostar we are looking for a Steward to join our Operations team based in Aruba, but before knowing more about the position, we think it's important that you learn a little about us:

Your main mission as a Steward is to maintain order and cleanliness of bar, restaurant and kitchen production areas, pots and pans, utensils, equipment and garbage areas with the purpose of keeping kitchen areas in hygienic and safe conditions. Assembly of halls and events, as well as order and cleaning of warehouses.

As a Steward, What will your day-to-day work be like?:

-Prepare the work material according to the activities to be carried out and the area's operations manual.
-Comply with the "Master Cleaning Plan" of the establishment according to the activities and areas indicated therein.
-Perform daily cleaning of tools and kitchen work equipment, such as: pots, pans, grills, electric kettles, stoves, sinks, cutting boards, hoods, irons, tables, etc.
-Perform daily cleaning of kitchen and F&B facilities such as: walls, doors, drains, cameras and floors, in order to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
-Carry out deep cleaning of equipment and facilities according to the Master Plan in
-Cleaning order to keep them in good condition and extend their useful life.
-Collect and deposit the kitchen and F&B waste in the corresponding chamber, as well as cleaning the trash cans, lids and general garbage chamber in order to keep kitchen and F&B areas clean and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the facilities of the establishment.
-Support with the decoration and special assemblies in the different services according to the needs of the operation.
-Apply and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the development of its activities, in order to contribute to the achievement of the establishment's cleanliness and hygiene standards.
-Properly wear the necessary protective and safety equipment consisting of: slip-resistant shoes / slip-resistant boots, gloves, hair net, rubberized apron, hat, girdle and goggles or protective glasses.
-Carry out cleaning and ensure the good use of your work equipment, in order to keep it in optimal conditions.
-Support in the kitchen and F&B department activities, in order to maintain performance levels and efficiency.
-Comply with the registration regulations and security systems of the company, as well as with the established work regulations.
