Host/Greeter

We are looking for a "door host” for our busy Restaurant/Bar with music & event venue to join our team! The successful candidate will be service focused, with strong guest service skills and an equally high degree of leadership and support with all levels of staff. They will also possess experience in a fast-paced busy bar environment.

This person will be responsible for providing customer service,
promote safety
, and ensuring responsible alcoholic beverage consumption for guests at our establishment. Must be able and is required to determine legitimacy of 's and refuse service/entry to anyone overly intoxicated. Assist all team members in providing a positive and memorable experience at establishment and ensure a safe premise for all. Ability to quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Manage the flow of guests into the establishment
• Checking ’s
• Welcoming guests in and thanking them on their way out
• Communicating issues as they arise to management
• Monitoring problematic guests
• Assisting other team members as required
• Crowd control, and traffic direction

• Previous restaurant host/greeting experience preferred
• Must have Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) compliance through Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC)
• Friendly and customer-focused personality
• Ability to articulate greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
• Ability to clearly communicate guests’ concerns to management
• Must be 21 or over
