REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF HR

CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT

STATUS: PART-TIME

LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD, MD

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Part‑Time Recruiter provides short‑term recruiting support to the HR team by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening coordination, and recruitment administration. This role helps manage hiring volume during peak periods while ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely hiring processes.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Post job openings and manage applicant flow through the ATS.
  • Source candidates using job boards, Linked In, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Conduct initial resume reviews and coordinate candidate screenings.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate next steps with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation.
  • Partner with the HR team to support hiring priorities and timelines.
  • Assist with offer preparation and pre‑employment steps as needed.
  • Support recruitment reporting and pipeline tracking.
  • Provide support with additional HR administration duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience using an ATS and sourcing tools (Linked In Recruiter preferred).
  • Clear and professional communication, strong organizational and time‑management skills, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional, responsive, and candidate‑focused approach.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • SHRM‑CP or HRCI PHR/SPHR certification in Human Resources Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g., benefits, recruitment, training, and development).
