Altamira is seeking a Computer Network Defense Analyst in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Job Description: Utilize information from various computer network defense resources—including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs—to identify, analyze, and report events occurring or potentially occurring within the environment.
Relevant experience: Must include experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering. Also, experience in network or system administration is required. Military training in relevant areas such as JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, or Cyber Defense Operations can be credited towards experience (e.g., 20-24 week courses count as 6 months, 10-14 weeks as 3 months).
Degree Types: Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields such as General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or Information Assurance.
