Our client is seeking an IT Security Specialist to support a critical information security program. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the organization's security initiatives. This includes identifying the current security infrastructure, defining future program requirements, and designing and implementing security-related IT systems. The role focuses on ensuring systems provide high data security and user compartmentalization due to the sensitive nature of the data involved.

• Ten (10) years of related work experience in security authorization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering.
• Experience with current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques.
• Knowledge of commercial security products, security authorization techniques, security incident management, and PKI and authorization services.
• The ability to support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining the appropriate operational cybersecurity posture for a system, program, or enclave.
