Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate target opportunities using all-source data to understand and map target networks.
Assist in developing detailed exploitation and operational plans.
Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data across multiple layers of the OSI model.
Apply a strong understanding of logical and physical IP core infrastructure and the flow of network traffic.
Contribute to the development of new tradecraft in response to evolving technologies.
Collaborate with government, military, and contractor teams to align on mission goals and intelligence priorities.
Form and test hypotheses using analytical techniques; query, merge, and evaluate data to uncover insights.
Document and communicate findings and developed tradecraft with stakeholders and teammates.
Base Salary Range: $123,000 – $146,000 (USD)
Actual compensation will vary based on experience, education, location, and skill set.
Additional bonuses and benefits may be provided.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as:
Engineering
Mathematics
Information Technology
Information Security
Related degrees may qualify if coursework includes key foundational computer science subjects:
Algorithms
Computer Architecture
Programming Methodologies and Languages
Data Structures
Logic and Computation
Advanced Mathematics (e.g., Calculus, Discrete Math)
Experience:
Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
Computer or information systems design, development, and analysis
Programming
Network security
Vulnerability analysis
Penetration testing
Systems engineering
Computer forensics
Network or systems administration
Information assurance
Completion of relevant military training (e.g.,
Joint Cyber Analysis Course – JCAC
) may be counted toward experience (e.g., a 24-week JCAC course = 6 months of experience).
PhD → Minimum of 2 years applicable experience
Master’s Degree → Minimum of 3 years applicable experience
Bachelor’s Degree → Minimum of 5 years applicable experience
Associate Degree → Minimum of 7 years applicable experience
Candidates must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
.
