As a QA Test Engineer, your job responsibilities include:

• Reviewing requirements and writing, updating test cases, troubleshooting defects, and analyzing test results.
• Executing test cases, logging defects, triaging defects, and testing multiple mobile devices, and reporting status to Test lead and Test Manager.
• Acting as sub-lead for specific functional areas of a project or multiple concurrent projects.
• Participating in test planning and testing activities on multiple devices for multiple projects.
• Testing, including reviewing requirements, analyzing requirements, determining testing needs, writing and reviewing test cases, running test cases, troubleshooting, logging and regressing defects, and analyzing test results.

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Defect logging and quality assurance experience.
• Ability to manipulate hand-held devices for extended periods.
• Testing and test engineering experience, including testing best practices for web-based applications.
• Basic understanding of set-top boxes and video entertainment technology.
• Ability to create innovative test cases.
• Understanding of white box and black box test methodologies.
• Good knowledge of satellite TV technology and networks, including RF, MPEG video compression, and physical and wireless networks.
• Ability to script for Linux and Microsoft OS.
