About the Role: Aara Tech Inc is seeking a Healthcare Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and integrations for healthcare systems. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals who want hands‑on experience working with healthcare data, clinical and claims datasets, and cloud‑based data platforms while supporting analytics, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare data ingestion and transformation.
- Work with healthcare data sources such as EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, and operational datasets.
- Support data modeling, integration, and schema design aligned with healthcare use cases.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in managing cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for healthcare analytics.
- Support healthcare data standards and interoperability formats (HL7, FHIR exposure preferred).
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and healthcare data definitions.
- Monitor performance and optimize queries and data workflows for reporting and analytics.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar data‑focused role.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
- Understanding of ETL tools, data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and services such as S3, Big Query, Azure Data Lake.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar frameworks (preferred).Basic understanding of healthcare data domains (clinical, claims, provider, or patient data).
- Awareness of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA (preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional data, analytics, and healthcare teams.
