We are a growing Digital Technology (DT) team searching for an enthusiastic, collaborative and dedicated member to join the Raytheon Solipsys System and Network Administration Team under Information Technology. You will assist in implementation and integration of IT solutions and infrastructure deployments that enhance resiliency and availability of critical services, maintain existing technologies across the enterprise, build and patch systems, troubleshoot lab environments, harden systems per cyber compliance requirements, and perform network administration by building and deploying new networks.
WhatYou Will Do
- Windows and Linux system administration of enterprise-wide or program/lab related systems, including setting up new and/or maintaining existing environments.
- Administration or support of virtualized environments leveraging a range of technologies including VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, and Proxmox.
- Administration or support of enterprise domain environments, including Group Policy, SCCM, PKI, DHCP, and DNS.
- Basic network administration of network appliances, implementing ACLs or VLANs for a given environment.
- Documenting and reporting of overall system configuration and adherence to hardening requirements (such as CIS, DISA STIG, NIST) and working with Solipsys Cyber Operations group for vulnerability mitigations, incident response, and compliance efforts.
- Assisting in implementation and integration of COTS solutions and infrastructure deployments that enhance and address IT projects to provide new capabilities or services, and managing existing security technologies.
- Collaborating with team members to develop and design future technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture security policies.
- Staying up to date with current technology innovations.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Security+ Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Understanding of system hardening and security compliance through NISPOM, DISA STIGs, NIST 800-171, including implementation, adherence, and auditingassessment. liAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Highly motivated with creative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for racking equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with container technologies, cloud technologies, Dev Ops concepts, and/or software development experience.
- Proficiency in scripting via bash and/or Power Shell.
- Certifications such as MCSA, RHCSA, VMWare VCP, or other industry relevant certifications.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
