ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Analyst
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position is onsite at Andrews AFB, Md.
- Develop, maintain, and execute verification and validation plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures for a cloud-based enterprise system.
- Review system requirements, user stories, interface specifications, and acceptance criteria to ensure they are testable, complete, and traceable.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, interface, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing across system releases.
- Validate that system capabilities support Air National Guard order writing processes and approved operational requirements.
- Facilitate execution of User Acceptance Test procedures with teams consisting of Military and Government Functional Representatives.
- Document test execution results, defects, discrepancies, risks, and recommendations in the designated tracking and reporting tools.
- Coordinate with developers, product owners, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and functional stakeholders to reproduce issues and verify corrective actions.
- Maintain requirements-to-test traceability matrices and support configuration and change-management processes.
- Participate in Change Control Meeting and Joint Application Design Sessions.
- Conduct data validation and assess system outputs for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with approved business rules.
- Participate in test readiness reviews, release readiness reviews, demonstrations, and stakeholder feedback sessions.
- Assist in developing quality metrics, dashboards, status reports, and briefings for program leadership and system stakeholders.
- Identify process improvements that strengthen testing efficiency, defect prevention, documentation quality, and overall system reliability.
- Follow applicable Department of War, Air National Guard, organizational, cybersecurity, records-management, and system-development lifecycle policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, system verification and validation, business systems analysis, or a related discipline.
- US Citizen with ability to obtain Oublic trust clearance
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Experience documenting and tracking software defects through resolution.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, including Agile, iterative, and/or waterfall development practices.
