The starting salary range for this position is $133,056 - $166,320. Tower also offers bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits plan which includes medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability benefits, and a 401(K) retirement plan with a company match. The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Business Intelligence is a key leadership role with responsibility for data strategy, including information assets and data governance, providing critical information for decision making, performing data analytics and trend analyses, and reporting for Tower leadership. Responsible for the functional areas of enterprise reporting and analytics, member insights, market research, and data literacy.

This role will involve managing a team responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. Combines advanced mathematical, statistical, analytical, and data mining expertise, knowledge of the financial industry, and programming skills to research, collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets from internal and external sources to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges.

• Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to drive business growth, enhance member value and improve decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data requirements by leveraging knowledge of the business, credit union operations, and best practices to provide strategic decision support, typically through data extraction and advanced analytics.
• Coordinate new data implementation efforts, interfacing with other areas of the credit union to obtain the support and resources to meet the business and financial objectives.
• Design processes and develop procedures to overcome data barriers to the completion of projects or reaching objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of data science, data visualization, data mining, and data transformation.
• Manage the credit union’s enterprise data governance program, ensuring data assets are trusted, governed and available to meet internal, regulatory/compliance and member demands.
• Monitor data quality to identify and troubleshoot data anomalies and discrepancies, such as duplicates and illogical or missing data, in order to maintain data integrity.
