Responsibilities Cloud Systems Administrator to support our mission-driven Cyber platform team. In this role, you’ll help sustain and optimize a cloud-based enterprise platform built with Java and Free and Open-Source Software technologies including Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo—enabling execution of data-intensive analytics on managed infrastructure. As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will be part of the Operations Team responsible for maintaining day-to-day platform stability, supporting customer operations, and troubleshooting repair expertise and technical issues across complex Linux-based environments.

The team is looking for a Cloud System Administrator to perform in a cloud environment platform, built with Java on Free and Open-Source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo, to enable the execution of data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure.

The candidate will be exposed to a variety of technologies depending on customer requirements. This is an evening or mid shift position and candidate is expected to provide Tier 1 through 3 supports. The candidate should have a strong background in troubleshooting operational issues in a Linux environment. Additional knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop and scripting experience such as python and bash is beneficial

You will work in a fast-paced technical environment where attention to detail, proactive task management, and the ability to independently diagnose operational issues are essential to mission success.

Provide Tier 1–3 support for infrastructure and system-level issues

Troubleshoot operational issues within Linux environments

Manage Red Hat/CentOS provisioning using kickstart

Perform Linux/Unix networking analysis using tools such as nmap and tcpdump

Support DNS administration including hosts files and DHCPAssist with containerized and distributed platform technologies

Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve system performance issues

Support on-call operational requirements

Qualifications7 years of experience Red Hat/CentOS command line7 years of experience Linux/Unix networking (nmap, tcpdump, firewalls)7 years of experience Red Hat/CentOS kickstart/provisioning (Setting it up)2+ years of experience Red Hat DNS Administration (DNS, hosts files, DHCP)
Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
8570 IAT Level I or higher (preferably Security+) is required and must be obtained prior to starting
