Seeking a detail-oriented individual for a legal office assistant position. The legal office assistant supports paralegals in the preparation and filing of immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals achieve their dreams of living and working in the United States.
Duties include- Update client records in proprietary software
- Route incoming mail and documents
- Prepare government or client correspondence such as letters, emails and other documents from template text
- Assist paralegals in drafting forms and documentation for filings
- Communicate with clients and various government offices
- Scan/copy/save government and client correspondence
- Prepare Fed Ex and other shipment labels
- Assist in maintaining organized files though monitoring deadlines and documenting actions
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma required;
Some college preferred - Minimum 1 year of experience working in an office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional demeanor
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive training will be provided for this challenging and rewarding position.

Pay Range:
$19-$20 per hour
