Sr. Logistician

Overview

Spectrum Comm is currently sourcing for a talented Senior Logistician to provide technical logistical management at our customer site Indianhead, MD.

• Responsible for performing technical logistical management in the areas of inventory, shipping, sorting, loading/unloading, destination, material recording and delivery to customer.
• Disposition efforts including obtaining and maintaining ETIDS and eRMS access and screen material for proper disposition.
• Provide guidance to contractor’s supply technicians, material coordinators, warehouse specialists, and shipping/receiving clerks.
• Should have knowledge or expertise with ERP/SAP Warehouse Management.
• Adherence to SOPs and governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• The Senior Logistician enters data into Navy ERP for accountability; performs inventory audits and provides subsequent inventory and metrics reports
• They ensure attachment of tags, labels and/or markings to materials
• Documents all errors related to orders shipped and received and files claims with manufacturers for defective goods
• Monitors through completion shipping documents such as Commercial and Government Bills of Lading

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
• Related Naval or DoD Supply Chain/Logistics experience
• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills
