Production Supervisor- Brazing​/Assembly

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced supervisor to lead our team of copper brazers and assemblers. The ideal candidate will ensure all copper piping assemblies are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, in compliance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry regulations. In addition to copper brazing, the supervisor will lead a team in heavy mechanical assembly.

• Leadership and Management
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members.
  • Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors and implement improvements.
  • Identify individual and team strengths and development needs; create or validate training curriculum.
  • Coach and mentor the team.
  • Establish clear, measurable goals and objectives; conduct timely evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Drive continuous improvement in key operational metrics and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate large teams and maintain focus during crises.
  • Ensure fair and consistent recognition and rewards.
• Technical Management
  • Oversee the entire production process and plan activities of technical staff.
  • Develop and maintain department reports and records.
  • Supervise line moves and builds; ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient.
  • Propose and implement best-in-field practices and measurement systems.
  • Demonstrate commitment to customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead by example ("walk the talk").
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and security regulations.
• Communication
  • Provide forums for idea exchange and clear communication.
  • Encourage input from team members and adapt communication style as needed.
  • Assess and improve individual team members' communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; technical certifications in brazing or welding are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in welding and brazing applications (AWS, ASME, ISO
  13585) or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience supervising 25 or more employees in manufacturing.
