Senior Project Manager – Morgan Sindall Construction

Location:

North East & Cumbria – Project Based

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, cost control and safety.

• Manage all aspects of the contract to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure a continuously improving health and safety culture.
• Manage site to meet time, cost and quality targets, forecast and monitor performance.
• Inform or consult with stakeholders and the public to facilitate delivery.
• Rigorous management of project costs, recording expenditure accurately.
• Proactively deliver quality installations to customer satisfaction.
• Deliver high levels of health, safety, environment and quality performance, supporting the Perfect Delivery objectives.
• Implement Morgan Sindall policies and procedures.
• Manage project risks and opportunities per company procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Control costs within contract parameters to maximise resource utilisation.

• Experience leading 2‑stage projects and managing own projects independently.
• Significant experience in the main contracting market, especially on Leisure, Education, Healthcare and Life Science schemes between £5 and £50M.
• Understanding of construction techniques and a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction Management or related subject.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
