Job Description
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona to lead the Aircraft Maintenance Training Team supporting F-35 Maintenance activities across the full spectrum of Field Operations at various F-35 operating locations both inside the US and internationally. Our team is responsible for overseeing a team of on-the-job trainers at various locations to ensure the timeliness of curriculum development and lesson plan reviews.
ResponsibilitiesInclude What You Will Be Doing
- Ensuring all meet/exceed DCMA 8210.1C and applicable service guidance for all variants of the F-35 aircraft.
- Works directly with Military, Lockheed Martin and foreign partners to ensure all maintenance training is kept up to date in accordance with all applicable directives.
- Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
- Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes aircraft safety of flight releases as required.
- Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Military, Government Civil Service, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Pratt and Whitney, General Electric and BAE systems employees.
- Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, Air Force Instruction 21-101, and local operating instructions.
- Advises management status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Ensures Good House keeping and Safety practices are enforced. An FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license is desirable.

FurtherInformation About This Opportunity
Security Clearance:
Must be a United States Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 4 years of F-35 maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operation.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance leadership role
- At least 4 years of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience.
- Must have working level of knowledge of programs such as;
