We ensure smooth material flow to support manufacturing operations. This role focuses on supply planning, inventory control, and cross‑functional coordination using SAP ECC. It requires strong analytical skills, proactive problem‑solving, and a commitment to operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Review daily MRP results and release purchase requisitions to buyers.
- Monitor and resolve exception messages to prevent production delays.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and material master data in SAP ECC.
- Coordinate with QA, Purchasing, and Master Scheduling to expedite material availability.
- Escalate issues through tiered meeting structures when needed.
- Track and update KPIs related to inventory, material performance, and availability.
- Execute actions to mobilize inventory and reduce scrap/waste.
- Perform SMOG (Scrap, Material Obsolescence, Goods) analysis and implement waste reduction plans.
- Review and optimize safety stock and reorder levels.
- Ensure timely material availability, testing, and release for production.
- Create, review, and update SOPs and work instructions.
- Participate in deviation, CAPA, and change control processes.
- Manage raw material expiration extensions and stock conversions.
- Support production planning as backup.
- Participate in assigned projects and other tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
- 5 to 10 years in MRP planning, supply chain, or inventory management roles.
- Strong knowledge of MRP and supply planning processes.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC (material master, planning parameters).
- Ability to analyse and resolve material shortages and capacity constraints.
- Skilled in inventory optimization and waste reduction strategies.
- Familiarity with SMOG analysis and safety stock management.
- Effective communication across Planning, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
- Experience with KPI tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of quality systems (deviation, CAPA, change control).
- Proficient in SOP creation and documentation updates.
