Industrial Maintenance Technician

This position is hourly and eligible for overtime pay as well as double time on extended shifts. Pay ranges from $30 to $34.50 based on experience.

• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and excellent housekeeping practices throughout the shift in accordance with the SOP.
• Operate, monitor, diagnose, and perform minor troubleshooting of equipment to achieve optimum performance.
• Apply expert knowledge in at least two of the following systems areas: bulk material transfer, processing, packaging, facilities/utilities.
• Perform other duties that are equivalent in skill to job requirements as required.

• High school diploma/GED or technical/trade school graduate or apprenticeship program.
• 2–5 years of maintenance/millwright experience with expert knowledge in three systems areas.
• Knowledge and skill equivalent to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment handling all levels of power voltage.
• Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Experience in maintenance of large fuel distribution systems.
• Experience in maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Strong team player and/or individual contributor with a track record of success on high-performance teams.
• Computer knowledge.

Agents must navigate the production floor where temperatures may vary and dust particulates are present. Duties include prolonged standing and walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and crouching regularly to service, troubleshoot, and clean equipment. Also required to push, lift, and pull raw materials such as film, tin tie rolls, and valves weighing up to 60 lbs.
