Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s Fluid Filtration Division is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm). The hourly rate starts at $19.00 per hour, with salaries based on skills, experience, and market conditions.

• Start up and operate plastic extrusion manufacturing equipment
• Manufacture products ranging from custom plastic extrusions to Zip Mate zippers
• Set up jobs by installing dies, adapters, breaker plates, and screen packs
• Inspect final products to ensure compliance with Eaton’s quality standards
• Maintain continuous production by preparing the extruder and downstream equipment for the next job
• Clean screw installation and keep an organized workspace surrounding the equipment

• Comply with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
• Follow all work and process instructions
• Identify improvement opportunities
• Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
• Work safely and report all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures
• Complete any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Reside within a 50‑mile radius of Williamsport, MD (no relocation benefit is being offered)
• Candidates who are active duty military members are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• Manufacturing experience, especially with extrusion and/or plastics production
• Basic computer and software skills
